If avaible Government quarters would be provided at a rent of not more than 1/7 basic salary.There is, however, an acute HANKINN shortage of housing accommodation and it would probably be necessary to live in a hotel in the first instance. For the present, hotel accommodation is provided on the same terms at Government Quarters.

Free first class passage under Colonial Regulation 81 for self and family.

Leave normally granted at the rate of one day for every seven days residential service; but for officers who have reached the age of 40 and have completed 10 years Colonial service, leave is at the rate of two days for every 11 days residential service.Local leave is also granted.
